Project SHARE (Students Helping Advance Reforms in Elections) is a federally funded grant program from the US Election Assistance Commission (EAC), an elections advisory agency created with the passage of the Help America Vote Act (2002). The EAC recognizes the challenges election administrators across the country face with acquiring new voting technology and a dwindling pool of Election Day staff; the national average age of poll workers is 72. The goal of this program is to recruit area college students with disabilities to become trained as poll workers for the 2010 election cycle. In October 2006, the Social Security Administration (SSA) replaced the Benefits Planning, Assistance and Outreach Program (BPA&O) with the Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) program. The Program has been renamed because of an increased emphasis on work incentives, return to work supports and jobs for beneficiaries.

The Center has an agreement with VESID to provide an orientation to VESID services for interested job seekers with disabilities in Delaware, Otsego and Chenango Counties.
